What COVID-related changes can I expect to see at this event?
We do ask that you anticipate changes to the water stop along the route and possibly the indoor post-race gathering, however we are making every effort to host a traditional ChristmasTown 5K this year. We reserve the right to alter race protocol and procedures based on government restrictions or COVID related concerns that may arise in November. Please remember all sales are final, but you can transfer your bib to someone else.
Can I walk this race?
We welcome walkers and runners of all speeds. We do ask that slower participants start near the back.
Is there a time limit?
We can only close the roads to traffic for a limited amount of time. If you are too far behind to finish before the roads re-open, you will be given the opportunity to board a shuttle bus to make it to the finish line. Please stay on the official course the entire time. You are not free to roam into yards or down streets not on the official route.
Can I push a stroller or run with my pet?
Strollers are welcome, and children under 3 do not need to register or receive a bib. Animals are not allowed to participate.
Can I wait to sign up on race day?
Our course certification only allows for a set number of participants before it is too crowded. Despite this being a fairly large number, we sell out every single year (usually in October). We can all but guarantee there will not be any spots available on race day.
I signed up and now I can't make it. Can I receive a refund?
All sales are final, but you can transfer your space to someone else. Please read the directions on how to do this under Refunds/Transfers on the Race Information page. Please note that after October 16th we will not be able to change your shirt size.
Where can I pick up my shirt and bib?

I planned on picking up my bib in person, but I can no longer do that. How can I get them before the race?
You can arrive early to the run and pick them up in person on race day. If you do not claim your packet before the race, you should email us at christmastown5K@gmail.com to arrange a time to pick up your packet. Nothing will be mailed after the race. You have one week to claim your packet and arrange a time. Any shirts not claimed after December 4th will be donated to charity.
Is it possible to change the shirt size that I ordered?
Shirt sizing is unisex, so please order accordingly. For smaller females, you have the option of ordering a youth large if you prefer. As long as it is before October 16th, you should be able to pull up your registration online and change your shirt size. After this date, you will no longer be able to modify the size as the shirts will have gone to press and we can't make changes. We do not order extras in sizes, so we can't exchange your shirt after October 16th even if you receive it and realize you ordered the incorrect size.
