The 3.1 mile run starts promptly at 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 28 in downtown McAdenville, NC on Main Street. You MUST be parked in town prior to 5 PM. All roads will close at this time to set the course. All participants will be expected to be at the start line with their bibs visible prior to the 6:00 PM gun. The start line will be closed promptly at 6:15.
We can only close the roads to traffic for a limited amount of time. Please stay on the official course, moving foward, the entire time. You are not free to roam into yards or down streets not on the official route. If you cannot finish the route before we need to re-open the roads, we will move you to the sidewalk for your safety. Once roads are opened, the finish line has been taken down.
For the safety of all our participants, animals are prohibited. IF YOU BRING AN ANIMAL ONTO THE COURSE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND DISQUALIFIED FROM THIS AND FUTURE EVENTS.
We unfortunately cannot allow anyone on the course without a bib and a paid registration. By participating without paying, you are crowding our course and using resources that have been reserved for our runners and allocated based on the number of bibs we sold. Furthermore, your bib is your lifeline if a medical issue arises on the course where you are unable to communicate. It is dangerous to run a race without a bib, and it's also not fair to the people who have one.
No. We are completely sold out with a long waiting list. Please check back with us next year for the 2027 event.
We welcome walkers and runners of all speeds. We ask that you line up towards the back of the start line if you plan on walking. Everyone is chip-timed, so your time doesn't start until you cross the start line. Participants must stay on the 3.1 marked route, moving forward at all times. A pace vehicle will be at the back of the runners to keep everyone on track and on pace. Roads will re-open approximately 90 minutes after the race starts. If you can't maintain the pace to finish in time, please move to the sidewalks once the roads re-open.
Strollers are welcome, and children under 3 do not need to register or receive a bib. We ask that you allow faster runners closer to the starting line. Everyone is chip-timed, so you will still receive an accurate time no matter how far back you are.

We welcome you to bring your cheerleaders, but please carpool as much as possible as we have limited parking. There will be food, shopping and entertainment for everyone. Please ask them to stay out of the roads at all times, even if they do not see runners in the streets. Our fastest runners show up quickly, and for the safety of everyone we need all streets clear of spectators at all times. They must stay on the sidewalks.
Yes. They just need your name to pick up your shirt and packet at one of our set times.
There will only be water at the finish line. Please bring your own if you need it on the course.
Yes, just please stay aware of your surroundings and listen to race course volunteers.
