Once our legal race cap has been reached, you will have the option to register for our waitlist.

As runners withdraw from the race, people on the wait list will be given an opportunity to register based on the order they are listed.

Waitlist selection will begin on October 1st. If no one has requested a refund by October 1st, selection will begin once refund requests are received. 

If selected, you will be notified via email and have a limited amount of time to register once the email is sent. If you do not register in time, you will forfeit the option to register and no longer be on the waitlist. The available bib will go to the person in line behind you on the wait list. As the race date approaches, you will have less time to register after receiving the email. This is to allow as many people to join us as possible.

October 1st to November 14th: 48 hours to register before you lose your space 

November 15th to November 21st :  24 hours to register before you lose your space

Race Week/November 22nd to 2 PM on November 28th: 12 hours before you lose your space

You have the ability to ask for up to 4 spaces, but you will only move off the wait list if all of your requested spaces become available.

You can keep track of your place in line by logging into your RunSignUp account. As you get higher on the list, be sure to watch your email closely so you don't possibly miss your chance to register. 

The odds of getting into the race depend primarily on the amount of turnover from the registered runners list. Since we don’t have any control over this, your guess is as good as ours. If no one needs to transfer their bib and leave the race, then no one from the wait list will be selected to participate. You can check your position on the wait list by logging into your RunSignUp account and selecting “My Waiting Lists”. Make sure emails from RunSignUp are not going to your spam folder, and if you get higher on the waitlist we suggest checking your spam frequently just in case. 

When registering on the wait list, you will be charged only if you are selected from the wait list and you accept the invitation to become a registered runner. 

The cost to register will be $60 per participant plus a small RunSignUp processing fee.

We cannot guarantee a specific shirt size to anyone who registers off the waitlist. 

The waitlist will officially close a week before race day. Your last day to add your name will be Saturday, November 21.
